Corporate Social Responsibility is part our strategic decision-making process. MEMBERSHIP IN THE GENERAL COUNCIL OF THE CASANARE SECTORAL BOARD OF HYDROCARBONS

This initiative, promoted by the SENA, seeks to establish the occupational needs of the oil and gas industry in order to improve the job profiles and skills of industry workers, as well as to identify training needs. As a key employer in the oil and gas industry in the Casanare Department, SAR ENERGY is focused on promoting an inclusive and skilled workforce.

PREPARE YOURSELF TRAINING PROGRAM

In 2016, SAR ENERGY entered into an inter-institutional agreement with the SENA in order to provide vocational training to unskilled employees aspiring to become Oil and Gas Production Technicians. Through the PREPÁRATE training program, SAR ENERGY annually sponsors employees in formal vocational training. SAR ENERGY is proud to provide educational opportunities for employees belonging to communities in which customer projects are located, ensuring compliance with the provisions of Res. 2616 of 2016 which establish job profiles for workers in the oil and gas industry.

MY FIRST JOB TECHNICAL TRAINING PROGRAM

In 2016, SAR ENERGY entered into an inter-institutional agreement with the Casanare Family Compensation Fund (ComfaCasanare), joining the 4000 NUEVOS EMPLEOS Program promoted by the Colombian national government. As a result, SAR ENERGY created the MI PRIMER EMPLEO technical training program which seeks to provide professional opportunities for young technicians and professionals without prior work experience. Through the MI PRIMER EMPLEO Program, SAR ENERGY provides young, local workers formally trained in the oil and gas production process the opportunity to gain work experience and practical knowledge, a prerequisite for entry into the oil and gas industry workforce following the passing of the 2616 Resolution of 2016.

SAR ENERGY TRAINING PROGRAM

In regions of Colombia where young persons have not had the opportunity to access formal, technical education, SAR ENERGY offers, alongside its customers, a one-year practical training program. The SAR ENERGY Training Program teaches participants the basic skills and provides the real-world experience required to work in the oil and gas industry. Following completion of the training program, candidates are qualified to compete for fulltime, entry level positions at the facilities in which they trained.
